| As we were reentering civilization we discovered a ranch with buffalo, antelope, zebras, ostrich, burros, etc. We'd walked down the slope to the fence and got a closer look. I took this as we turned to climb back to the car. Note, weeds and grass, a sign people may live in this territory. We're clearly nearing the real Texas -- Sam Houston's Texas -- and home. |
