I've Lost My Original InfoMagic Documents
| I just upgraded to InfoMagic
Extra and I seem to have lost my Original InfoMagic Documents -- Help!
When you install Extra it gives you an option to
migrate your Folders & Documents, but under some circumstances (For
example, if you just 'moved' Original InfoMagic to your computer without
'installing' it.) it has no way to know you are currently using Original
InfoMagic. Also, if you rejected this option during installation
you will have to migrate your Documents manually.

Step 1 -- Find
where the Original is located
If you didn't choose another location, it
will be in the folder C:\Program Files\InfoMagic.
If it isn't there, go to Start
| Find | Files or Folders and
search for 'InfoMagic.exe' (without the quote
marks). |

Step 2 -- Find
where Extra is located
If you didn't choose another location, it
will be in the folder C:\Program Files\InfoMagic Extra.
If it isn't there, go to Start
| Find | Files or Folders and
search for 'InfoMagic Extra.exe' (without the quote
marks). |

Step 3 -- Copy
all folders to the new location
Using Explorer (not the browser) Copy
all your Original folders to the new location. Remember,
that's Copy, not Move. |

Step 4 --
Convert your documents to the new format
Start Extra. Go to the Accessories
Menu and select Convert Documents to
Current Format. |
That should do it. Your Folders and
Documents should now look just like they did before. |
