The design for this quilt came from the "Trick or Treat" quilt in When the Cold Wind Blows by Barb Adams & Alma Allen.  In the original quilt, the baskets were orange and black.  For my baskets, I chose to use all colors of civil war reproduction fabrics.  The backgrounds are a variety of black shirtings.  For the backing, I chose a Halloween print with little black spiders that looks very much like a shirting.
